1Don't buy - a waste of money
By cb423
I purchased this item in late December, and after several weeks of regular use it has already broken. The sound quality is good, but that doesn't matter if the product materials are cheap and not durable. A plastic piece above the ear broke and made it impossible to use. It took over a week, me sending photos, and a handful of email correspondences before the company would agree to repair/replace the product. Even now, I have to pay to ship it back to Turtle Beach and it's going to take 5-10 business days once they receive it. It seems silly to wait a month and pay $20 to ship a $50 product that I believe is not up to par with others in its category and price range. I would NOT recommend this product, choose another brand.

1Probably better to get a different set
By J. Miller
I've had two of these in the last year, and within three months use each, both had broken the same piece above the left ear. A screw pulled out and broke off, rendering the left headphone hanging in an extremely uncomfortable and ill-fitting way. When the first one broke, I thought perhaps it was just a bad pair or over-usage. When the second set did the exact same thing, nah, it's definitely the construction of the headset. A decent set before they break, but they sure don't last long. I would probably recommend the Razer Carcharias over these.

1I bought two. They lasted 4 months of gentle use.

I excitedly bough two headsets for my wife and I to use. My wife got a short in hers within a few months. My headset had an even greater failure. The hinges that connect the center tension bracket to the earpiece and allow it to "swivel freely" broke. I can't emphasize how great of a mechanical failure it was. One side cracked and I caught it, clued it up nicely, I was set. Within a week, the other side broke in the same manner.

I've had headsets break before, I know they are fragile. I keep my headset on a nice hook 2 feet from where I use it. It goes on my head, then to the hook.

It still broke like balsa wood.

Don't. Buy.
