3Comfort issues, software is meh
By Ken
These fall short on long-term comfort for me. My head is average size (One size fits all hats fit me comfortably), but the pressure on the slightly-too-small earcups is too much, and there isn't enough adjustment.
The software is clunky, but got the job done most of the time. An occaisional crash in mid-game would leave me without sound at all, and the only remedy was to uninstall the driver software and reinstall. The best solution I found was to use windows 7 default setup for 5.1 through usb. All of this considered, the sound quality and clarity is wonderful- for the price, you would be quite hard pressed to do better in that arena.

2Great sound quality, product falls apart.
By Tom Osborne
This headset was good while it lasted, while the other review complains about the lack of Bass that is actually more or less a driver problem(Found at the official site), the bass worked great, there were loads of features in the audio settings for this headset, but the cord is of a bad quality, the cord wants to tangle itself to the point that it damages the wire, meaning this thing is pretty high maintenance, maybe if you take extra special care of the cord this is worth the money, but that's a lot of work just to make a cheap slightly above par headset last.

If you're looking for quality it's only half there, Audio Quality was superb once it had the appropriate drivers, however it is definately not built to last, I've heard this also happens with old triton models from a friend, though he can't vouch for more recent models. If you're searching for a cheaper off brand to a dolby headset I might just say fork out the extra money for a better brand.

1...Why did I buy this?
By Timothy
Right off from the start they look great, very promising. But once plugged in I felt immediate disappointment. The bass is hardly even noticeable, which is a HUGE drawback considering they were too preoccupied putting in 5 speakers. Personally I would rather have 2 GREAT speakers than 5 that produce a fish-bowl sound quality. For the money I was really expecting much more than what I got.
